Smiling woman in a light gray knit sweater posing in front of a brick wall

Hi, I'm Ashley.

Therapist. Wife. Mom of three. Ocean lover. And a firm believer that you don't have to have it all together to show up for yourself.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor in Texas and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Louisiana. For more than a decade, I've helped people navigate everything from everyday stress and relationship challenges to some of life's most difficult experiences.

One thing I've learned along the way? You don't need to have the right words, a major crisis, or everything figured out to benefit from therapy.

Come as you are.

There's a good chance you'll see me in leggings and a Therapy HTX sweatshirt. I believe in showing up as your authentic self, and I try to practice what I encourage my clients to do. I'm at my best when I'm comfortable being myself, and I want you to feel that same freedom.

Bring your coffee, your lunch, or a cozy blanket. Therapy doesn't have to feel formal or intimidating to be meaningful.

I've spent years working with people through complex trauma, grief, and difficult life circumstances, including developing and directing trauma treatment programs within the juvenile justice system. That experience has taught me that people are so much more than the hardest things they've experienced or the decisions they've made.

You don't have to worry about shocking me or being judged.

My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I'll listen, support you, and challenge you when it's helpful. I take this work seriously, but I also believe there's room for laughter, authenticity, and being human.

A little about me outside the office.

I'm a wife, mom of three, daughter of a combat veteran, and proud of my Hispanic heritage. Life outside the office includes kids, pets, and plenty of everyday chaos.

The ocean is my happy place. I love scuba diving, sharks (I've even swum with whale sharks!), hiking, and spending time outdoors.

I also believe in practicing what I teach, especially when it comes to boundaries. I generally respond to messages during weekdays, reserving evenings and weekends for family, rest, and recharging.

Holding space for others is important to me, and I've learned that doing it well means making space for myself, too.

Let's get started.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, working through past experiences, navigating relationships, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, you deserve a place where you can show up exactly as you are.

You don't have to have it all figured out. We'll work through it together.
